The following is a synopsis of the various stages Ambrose Homes, Inc. takes the client through during the design build process: 1) Initially Ambrose Homes, Inc. works with the client to discuss their ideas and intake any information that they have gathered in order to incorporate it into a conceptual architectural plan. 2) With the architectural plan in place for the clients review, Ambrose Homes, Inc. discusses the client’s observations and questions and implements them into an updated conceptual plan. This process is repeated until the client approves the plan. The design process usually takes 6 to 8 weeks depending upon the scale of the project and the clients availability to discuss the proposed plans. A large portion of the design process can be done via e-mail with CAD drawings if the client lives off Cape or travels frequently. 3) After the building has been designed and approved by the client, Ambrose Homes, Inc. can then work up a contracted price to construct with plans and full specifications. The specifications include all pertinent details and materials. 4) Ambrose Homes, Inc. on behalf of the client can apply to the various regulatory authorities and begin the permitting process. A strategy is determined working with the prospective engineers and if necessary an attorney on the applications to the specific town boards. 5) Once the permitting process is completed and a building permit has been issued, Ambrose Homes, Inc. begins the building phase of the project.
